VSUN SOLAR embarks on corporate decarbonization

In the battle against climate change, addressing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions is of utmost importance. VSUN has established an internal greenhouse gas emission accounting system covering the entire supply chain.

On March 25-29, VSUN SOLAR (Vietnam) underwent a GHG on-site carbon footprint Verification by following the standard of Greenhouse Gas Protocol. Greenhouse Gas Protocol is the most widely used GHG accounting and reporting standard in the world, serving as the foundation for most other standards and initiatives tackling corporate decarbonization. The on-site meeting aimed to enhance consistency, transparency, and credibility in GHG quantification, monitoring, reporting, and emission reduction through a professional qualification-based carbon Verification assessment process. It seeks to facilitate the establishment of a robust GHG emission internal quantification, management, and reporting mechanism within VSUN, thereby promoting the implementation of future GHG management strategies and plans. Ultimately, this initiative aims to construct an ESG management system that aligns with VSUN's unique requirements and characteristics.

VSUN is pursuing the concept of sustainable development and integrating it into the company's management system, business decisions, supply chain management, and values. The successful convening of this carbon verification meeting is beneficial not only for VSUN's ongoing efforts in tracking GHG emissions reduction but also reaffirms VSUN's confidence and stance in adhering to carbon disclosure. In the future, VSUN will enhance its ESG management mechanisms, reduce its carbon footprint, and contribute to the advancement of global sustainable development efforts.
